"Wilma" successful in Reining

We had known for a long time that this day of farewell would come in the near future.
Two dear souls have left us today.
COMANCHE HOLLYWOOD “Wilma”
We bought little “Wilma” as a foal, along with her brother “Günni.” In December 2002, the little ones moved with us to our current facility. “Wilma” grew up in a sheltered and very pampered
environment. Ronny broke her in himself, trained her, and presented her at several reining competitions.
She also competed successfully in Hunter in Hand with Ronny and—to the surprise of many—became European Vice Champion.
“Wilma” was a loving mother to her foals and gave us a total of six offspring. Her son COLONELS DUNIT ARROW lives with us, and some of his children remind us of her every day. Our dear “Wilma” will
always have a place in our hearts.
"Solo" and DUN IT HIGHER
KJ JOKERS HIGH SIGN "Solo"
We had been looking for a direct daughter of HIGH SIGN NUGGET for our breeding program, and so “Solo” arrived at our current facility in 2010 as a 5-year-old mare from Canada (KJ Appaloosa, Alberta).
“Solo” charmed everyone with her gentle, reserved demeanor. At feeding time, she always greeted us with a soft snort; you couldn’t miss her. She loved being cared for and groomed, resting her head in our arms as we did so. Of her six sons, four are still with us, two of them as studs. We will never forget the gentle soul that was “Solo.”

2025 is a special year for us as breeders, because our first Quarter Horse foal was born. The little black mare with the one blue eye is a magnificent mating and a magical result. The sire is the great ELECTRIC SNOW!

Dam is our PEPPYS FINAL SPOOK “Abby”, a daughter of the well-known BEST SPOOK!

A SIGN OF SMOKE “Smoker” is already 2 years old this year and he likes to show off his talent when romping around. It gives us great pleasure to watch him grow up.

On this wonderful spring day we were able to welcome a beautiful filly into our lives. Little “Cutie” is the last foal of our SMARTLENA BOGIE and at the same time the fourth generation of our breeding program for appaloosa reining horses. Her great-granddam SIX O LENA was already at home with us. We are very proud of this result of our breeding efforts.

A sad day in the history of our farm
SMARTLENA BOGIE
His life was as varied as the color of his coat.
“Günni” arrived at our current facility in December 2002, along with his sister. As a young stallion, he loved to play for hours with one of his balls in his paddock or out in the pasture.
Later on, our dog “Flame” became one of his closest friends.
Ronny broke in and trained “Günni” himself. He rode him on cross-country trails and showed him at various events. “Günni” was a sought-after stud with a successful line of offspring, and most of his foals bore the mischievous expression of SMARTLENA BOGIE.
“Günni” had many sides to him. He was also a beloved and patient school horse. He tackled every task with great enthusiasm, no matter what it was.
His last foal—a little filly—was born in 2025. Like her brother SMART SIGN UP, she will stay with us and pass on his genes to the next generation.

Today was the official opening of the CHIO in Aachen. The USA was the partner country and COLONELS DUNIT ARROW "Kevin" and I were invited to take part in the opening ceremony.

A big milestone for us as breeders: The colorful colt "Smoker" is the first Appaloosa foal by A VINTAGE SMOKE worldwide and we are bursting with pride! The mare KJ JOKERS HIGH SIGN is one of the last direct daughters of the important Appaloosa Sire HIGH SIGN NUGGET in Europe.

In April, our IMA RUF SIXYPIXY gave us a beautiful baby from COLONELS DUNIT ARROW.
At five months old, "Cloudy" is already a real "Klops" and very cool.

For the stallion SMART SIGN UP we have received an impressive pedigree over 5 generations from the USA. Unfortunately, the sheet was too small and not all the information could be included. Nevertheless worth seeing!
